Why does the ETS suck so much? Not public transit in general, but specifically the ETS.

Today I took the bus because my car had a little hiccup last night. It's the first time since last year that I've taken the bus. I'll call it my seasonal immune system booster. You might ask why I think the system sucks. Here we go:

• long wait times
• bus drivers are asshole-ish
• it costs $2 a ride, that's expensive for a shitty service
  
• other bus riders are inconsiderate/loud/anti-social/generally unpleasant people
• junior high/high school students who ride the bus think they are gangsters
• junior high/high school students who wait in the bus station think they are gangsters
• it is hard for me to hold back my urges to roundhouse these junior high/high school students

That's all I can think of now. I think Edmonton is just too much of a car-loving city to make any improvements in the public transit system. Whatever, I'm getting my car back soon anyways.
